How do I copy and paste my System Information?

In many cases, our analysts can more effectively troubleshoot your issue if they have access to your ESET NOD32 Antivirus and System information. In addition, if you are submitting a Support Request using our online form, you must copy and paste this information into the Product Details section of that form.

To look up your System Information in ESET Smart Security/ESET NOD32 Antivirus 3.0 and 4.0, follow the steps below. To look up your System Information in ESET NOD32 Antivirus 2.7, click here.

  1. Open the main program window by clicking the ESET icon  next to the system clock, or by clicking Start → All Programs → ESET → ESET Smart Security or ESET NOD32 Antivirus.
     
  2. From the main menu, click Help and support. To display the System Information window, click About ESET Smart Security from the main program window.
     
  3. In the Installed components window, scroll to the top and click the first line. Hold down the SHIFT key and then press the END key.
     
  4. When the entire section is highlighted, right-click in the Installed components window and click Copy.
     
  5. You can now paste this information into the Support Request form (or any other Windows application). To do this, click inside the lower box in the Product Details section of the Support Request form and press the CTRL and V keys together at the same time. To look up your System Information in ESET NOD32 v2.7, follow the steps below:

  1. Open the NOD32 Control Center by clicking the ESET icon  next to the system clock, or by clicking Start → All Programs → Eset → NOD32 Control Center.
     
  2. Inside the NOD32 Control Center window, click NOD32 System Tools and then click Information. The Information window will open to the right of the NOD32 Control Center window.
     
  3. In the Information window, click the Copy to Clipboard button. Your ESET NOD32 Antivirus settings have now been copied into the clipboard on your Windows system.
     
  4. You can now paste the contents of the clipboard into the Support Request form (or any other Windows application). To do this, click inside the lower box in the Product Details section of the Support Request form and press the CTRL and V keys together at the same time.
